Huge congrats to our client Thelma Plum who won this year’s prestigious Vanda & Young Global Songwriting Competition for her song ‘Better In Blak’. The competition was launched to recognise excellence in songwriting as well as to raise money for music therapy charity, Nordoff Robbins. Since it’s release, ‘Better In Blak’ has received critical acclaim from both fans and industry alike taking out ninth place in the 2019 Triple J’s Hottest 100 and making the top five in APRA’s Song of the year 2020.
Our congratulations also goes out to clients Ruel who came runner up and Carla Geneve who took out the emerging songwriter prize.
