Emoji are just harmless, funny images at the end of a text, right? Well in the legal industry they are becoming an increasingly serious problem. A court in New Zealand recently had to grapple with Emoji that were placed at the end of death threats, whilst a judge in the Supreme Court of QLD had to decide how to interpret a smiley face Emoji in a will.
