Last night’s JIMA’s ruled. We take our hats off to the Australian Independent Record Labels Association for a most excellent evening and all of our clients who nabbed an Independent Music Award (Chet Faker = Breakthrough Independent Artist & Best Independent Single/EP & Best Show Stealing Moment (the latter should be an actual award), The Jezabels = Best Independent Artist, DZ Deathrays = Best Independent Hard Rock or Punk Album, Jess Ribeiro and the Bone Collectors = Best Independent Country Album) and also to Tim Rogers for always being the consummate rock star.
