The ‘Don’t Kill Live Music’ rally saw tens of thousands of Sydney-siders gather in Hyde Park in support of Australian musicians and music festivals. Two weeks on, the NSW government’s Music Festival Licensing Scheme and Guidelines are now in force. This regime will only apply to specified festivals as determined by the Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority.
